Reverse Lookup by ID
updated 3/1/17- JN
This is a handy tool to have when all you have is an ID number and you need to find the related family name, student name or class name.
You will need to login to the Org’s database. Once you have done so, copy any of these links into your browser address bar. Substitute the X’s for the ID number and you will be brought to the correct record...
https://app.jackrabbitclass.com/jr3.0/Family/FamilyDetail?xID=XXXXXX (family)
https://app.jackrabbitclass.com/jr3.0/Student/StudentDetail?xID=XXXXXX (student)
https://app.jackrabbitclass.com/jr3.0/Class/ClassDetail?xID=XXXXXX (class)
https://app.jackrabbitclass.com/jr3.0/Family/ContactDetail?xID=XXXXXX (contact)
https://app.jackrabbitclass.com/jr3.0/Staff/StaffDetail?xID=XXXXXX (staff person)
https://app.jackrabbitclass.com/jr3.0/Event/EventType/XXXXX (event type)
https://app.jackrabbitclass.com/jr3.0/Event/EventDetail/XXXXX (event)
Here is another way to get to the same data ...
- Determine the Student/Family/Class/Contact/Staff ID first
- Then select List Active Students/Family/Class/Staff
- Right Click on any Student/Family/Class/Staff Name
- Select Open Link in New Tab
- In the New Tab, change the Student/Family/Class/Staff ID from the URL/Address bar

Often times it's helpful to know where the Org was when they submitted their Support ticket. You can find this information at the bottom of their Support Ticket. Additionally, once you are logged into their database, you can paste this information into your browser and it will take you to where they were when they used the Support button...

Nifty Tool for Finding ID Values
Often times when searching the activity logs, you will be presented with an ID # instead of a value. For instance "Cat1=2197120".

This information is not real helpful. However, there is a way to find the actual value. You will need to be in the Org's database to find the value. You cannot find it from the activity logs.
This screencast will show you how to find the values. As mentioned in the video, you will need to use F12 to open your Developer Tools. Don't worry, it's not as scary as it sounds! Just follow the steps in the video.
